Press Club board announced meeting schedule
The Press Club of Dallas has changed its long-standing monthly board meetings, which typically took place on Tuesdays at various locales, to a standard time and location.
For 2009, the board will meet the third Saturday of each month at the Sammons Center for the Arts, 3630 Harry Hines Blvd., in the second floor meeting room. The sessions will begin at 9 a.m. and generally last an hour. The board maintains an open door policy, and members of the PCD who are not on the board are always welcome to attend and observe.

Press Club holds first mixer of 2009!
Members of the Press Club of Dallas — and those interested in learning more about the club — are invited to join in the first happy hour of the year.
On Thursday, Jan. 15, the PCD welcomes members at the Dallas landmark Louie’s for a mixer from 5:30 to 7:30 p.m. Louie’s — famous for its crisp pizzas and old school drinks — is located 1839 N. Henderson St.
