The Press Club of Dallas recently partnered with KERA and filmmakers Manny Mendoza and Mark Birnbaum for a very lively panel discussion on their documentary: Stop the Presses.
A panel discussion introduced and moderated by Niki Nicastro McCuistion- producer of the McCuistion Program, now in its 20th year with KERA, and filmmaker for the Roots of War, featured :
Jim Maroney with the Dallas Morning News, Mark Vamos with SMU’s School of Journalism, Robert Wilonskey of the Dallas Observer and Eric Celeste with D Magazine as well as the filmmakers, and focused on the “demise” of print media, the economics of print and the future of print journalism.
