Nominees for new board of directors
Press Club Board President Hugh Aynesworth appointed a nominating committee that included Chair Liz Oliphant and committee members Camille Keith, JoAnn Holt and Bob Morrison. After receiving suggestions from the membership at large, the committee is offering a slate of nominees that was approved by the board at its June 17, 2008, meeting.
There are five vacancies for media members and three vacancies in the professional membership category.

A Candidates Night will be held at 7 p.m. Tuesday, July 15 at The Gingerman, 2718 Boll Street, Dallas, to help you get acquainted with candidates. Cash Bar.
Ballots containing photos and biographical information on the candidates will be mailed to members in good standing on July 23. Completed ballots must be received by 4 p.m., July 31, 2008.
Announcement of the election and the Club’s annual meeting will be held at 6:30 p.m. on Friday, August 1, 2008, at the preview center for the Dallas Center for the Performing Arts, second floor Trammell Crow Center, 2001 Ross Avenue, Dallas, TX. The Performing Arts Center is providing refreshments and complimentary parking (enter off Olive Street).
